TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales, repairs, services, and transactions carried out by TDM Guitars (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing products or requesting repair services, you (“the customer”) agree to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Repair Services

2.1 Estimates

Repair estimates are provided based on an initial inspection. Final costs may change if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. Customers will be contacted before any additional work is carried out.

2.2 Approval of Work

Repairs will only begin once the customer has approved the estimate or requested service.

2.3 Deposits

We may require a deposit before starting repairs, particularly for major work or special-order parts. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun or parts have been ordered.

2.4 Completion Time

Estimated completion times are provided as a guide only. Delays may occur due to parts availability, complexity of repairs, or workload.

3. Storage and Uncollected Items

Customers will be notified when repairs are complete.

• Instruments must be collected within 30 days of notification.

• After 30 days, storage fees may apply.

• We will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer regarding collection.

• Items left uncollected for 90 days or more after notification may be sold to recover repair, storage, and administrative costs where permitted by law.

4. Customer Responsibility

Customers must disclose any known issues, previous repairs, or modifications before work begins.

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

• Pre-existing structural weaknesses

• Improper previous repairs

• Manufacturer defects

• Environmental conditions (including humidity or temperature changes)

5. Liability

While we take the utmost care when handling instruments, TDM Guitars is not liable for loss or damage caused by events beyond our control, including theft, fire, flood, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Customers are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage for valuable instruments.

6. Warranty on Repairs

We provide a 60-day warranty on repair workmanship carried out by us from the date the repair is completed. If a fault arises due to our workmanship within this period, we will correct the issue at no additional cost.

This warranty does not cover:

• String breakage

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage caused by misuse or accidents

• Changes to setup caused by humidity, temperature, or seasonal movement

• Work performed or modified by another technician or the customer after our repair

7. Sales of Instruments and Equipment

7.1 Product Descriptions

We aim to ensure all product descriptions and prices are accurate. However, errors may occur and we reserve the right to correct them.

7.2 Used Instruments

Used instruments may show signs of wear consistent with age and use. These are sold as described at the time of sale.

7.3 Returns

Returns may be accepted within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase, provided the item is returned in its original condition unless faulty.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Special Orders

Items ordered specifically for a customer may require full or partial payment in advance and may not be refundable unless faulty.

9. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of repairs or at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

We accept cash, card, bank transfer, and PayPal.

10. Privacy

Customer contact information is collected only for purposes relating to repairs, orders, and communication. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except where required by law.

11. Governing Law
